On 6th February 2023, two strong earthquakes of magnitude 7.8 hit Turkey, followed by over 800 aftershocks, which coursed heavy casualties and severe economic losses. The condition worsened because of the continual aftershocks, low temperatures, and supply shortage.

After the earthquake, the Chinese government immediately provided emergency humanitarian assistance according to the needs of the disaster-stricken people. When trouble occurs at one spot, help comes from all quarters. Responded to the call of the government, GSP, together with Derun Public Welfare Foundation, decided to donate to Turkey's disaster areas.

Under the direction of Group CEO Richard Zhou, departments in the Group, including marketing, procurement, packaging, and academy collaborated to contact embassies, coordinate procurement channels, arrange transportation, pack suppliers etc. All the arrangements were made to make sure the successful delivery of goods.

After 20 hours of unremitting efforts, all the supplies, including food, garment, feminine and baby supplies and others valued at CNY 150,000 for the recovery from the earthquake, were ready for Turkey.

Marked with STAND WITH TURKEY on the carton, all the suppliers are packed. All the staff in GSP showed their sympathy and sorrow for the disaster-stricken people.

On 13th February, all the supplies were on their way to the embassy of Turkey in the PRC. Conveying the sincere concern of the GSP people, and the power of China, the supplies will be delivered as quickly as possible to Turkey.
