In June 2022, more than 80 members of the technology research and development, engineering, and associated professionals attended the GSP-hosted 2021 Technology Innovation Award Conference respectively in Wenzhou, Jiasheng, and Nanjing.

The meeting summarized the work done on technological innovation in the second half of the year. In addition to applauding 22 technological innovation projects, the meeting authorized 5 utility model patents, 4 design patents, 4 high-tech R&D projects from the company, 2 individual breakthrough awards, 4 team standard awards, and 3 excellent rationalization suggestions.

Additionally, it honored the technical team for achieving the annual goal. In 2021, a total of 4 technical center teams successfully reached their booking target at the beginning of the year. According to the new incentive scheme, the Group will award:

Team-building financing incentive of 10,000 yuan to Wenzhou technical team

Team-building financing incentive of 5,000 yuan to GSP technical team

Team-building financing incentive of 8,000 yuan  to Wheel hub technical team

Team-building financing incentive of 7,000 yuan to OE Technical Team

At the end of the meeting, Zhou Chonglong, vice president of the group, and Liu Yuanjun, general manager of Nanjing GSP, spoke at the end of meeting. “Innovation is the opportunity that times have given us, patents are the evidence of an organization's capacity for innovation, and innovation is the main competitive advantage of business growth. The technical research and development team at the company needs to continue to keep coming up with new ideas, concentrate on patenting ground-breaking inventions, and welcome more and more family members to the team.”
