BUDAPEST, June 18, 2026 – GSP officially inaugurated its new Central Warehouse in Hungary on June 18, marking a significant milestone in the company’s European warehouse network expansion. The project was officially launched in January 2025. In the initial phase, the team conducted a comprehensive review of GSP’s European business footprint, defined clear strategic objectives for the warehousing initiative, and developed a detailed project roadmap. This thorough planning laid a solid foundation for the subsequent construction and operational setup.

Throughout the project lifecycle, the team maintained close and efficient collaboration between global and local offices. Key milestones—including site selection, infrastructure development, local entity registration, local team building, and IT system implementation—were achieved through the sustained dedication of cross-border teams. During the final delivery phase, which coincided with China’s Labor Day holiday, all staff voluntarily gave up their time off to work across time zones and ensure all preparatory tasks were completed on schedule.

After more than a year of intensive work, the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and SAP system went live successively in May 2026, successfully completing all core project deliverables.

As a strategic vehicle for GSP’s “Product + Service” development strategy, the Hungary Central Distribution Center serves multiple core functions. Beyond traditional logistics roles such as cargo storage, inventory management, and cross-border transshipment, it also acts as a comprehensive operational hub for GSP’s European market expansion and customer service. The facility enables simultaneous supply deployment across multiple product lines, including GSP’s own brands and private-label products, while continuously optimizing the regional product portfolio and supply chain structure.

With the Hungary CDC as its anchor, GSP plans to integrate its diversified product matrix, coordinate regional inventory resources, and enhance localized delivery and integrated service capabilities. This will effectively reduce cross-border supply barriers, shorten lead times, improve supply stability, and reinforce GSP’s overall competitiveness in the European market, ultimately delivering greater value to customers worldwide.

“The official operation of the Hungary CDC marks a new phase in the development of GSP’s European localized service system,” said Managing Director of GSP Europe Milko Wolf “Going forward, we will leverage this warehouse as our strategic cornerstone to build a comprehensive local service network across Europe, further improve regional supply chain responsiveness, and provide end customers with more efficient and higher-quality integrated services. The Hungary Distribution Center will continue to evolve, expand its market reach, and grow into a new engine of growth radiating across the entire European region.”
